Walk in Interview for Technical Assistant
The Wildlife Institute of India (WII), is a premier national autonomous Institute of the Ministry of Environment and Forests (MoE&F), Government of India, in the field of teaching, training and research. The WII wishes to engage one Technical Assistant (Indian national only) for its Forensic Cell through a walk-in-interview to be held on Monday, 30th July 2012. The details of the position, qualifications, terms and conditions and how to apply are given below:
Title, details of position and duration :
Wildlife Forensic Cell.   (01– TA)   Duration: One year.
Essential Qualification :

Candidate should possess a Master's Degree in Forensic
Science/Animal Genetics/Molecular Ecology/Biotechnology
/M.V.Sc in Animal Genetics with minimum of 55% aggregate
 marks from a recognized University.
Desirable Qualifications :
Work experience in DNA extraction and running
electrophoresis etc.
Description of Work : The Technical Assistant is required to assist in ongoing
work related to DNA based techniques.
