Associate Web Master
ICRISAT seeks applications from Indian nationals for the post of Associate Web Master to be based at Patancheru, Andhra Pradesh, India. This is a nationally recruited position.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain all ICRISAT websites and applications hosted on web platform. These sites include main web site at http://www.icrisat.org, Intranet site at http://Intranet.icrisat.org, and other project and activity related web sites.
- Design/prepare style sheets, templates and forms, needed for web sites.
- Design/integrate/modify pages, posts, media objects i.e., picture galleries, info graphics, videos,publications, PowerPoint presentations, flash-based presentations, RSS for press releases) with ICRISAT web sites
- Large number of ICRISAT websites are hosted on Microsoft’s IIS web server and applications are developed on ASP .Net platform.
- Many of the newer ICRISAT web sites are developed using wordpress blog, drupal running, hosted on apache web server on Linux. These web sites use PHP language.
- Providing support to components of the ISU/KSI and work effectively with ISU team.
- Manage and support video conferencing activities and services offered by ISU/KSI.
- Other related IT responsibilities allocated by ISU from time-to-time
