Scientist ‘B’ (Data Management & Information Technology)
Applications are invited upto 30th November 2012 for the post of Scientist ‘B’ (Data Management & Information Technology) in the Pay Band PB-3 Rs.15600-39100+Grade Pay Rs.5400/- at the ICMR’s National Institute for Research in Tuberculosis (Epidemiology Unit), Chennai.
Job Requirements: Design, development, organization, programming and implementation of information systems and databases and data analysis for various epidemiological community surveys. LAN operation and management of computer systems and networking
Essential Qualification & Experience:
- B.E / B.Tech degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent degree from a recognized university with 2 years experience. (OR)
- 1st class Master’s degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Statistics / Computer Applications or equivalent degree from a recognized university.(OR)
- class M.Sc + Ph.D degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Statistics / Computer Applications from a recognized university
Desirable Qualification:
- Doctorate or M.Tech Degree in Electronics / Computer Science / Information Technology / Statistics / Computer Applications from a recognized university
- Additional Post doctoral research / teaching experience in relevant subjects as mentioned above in recognized institute(s).
- Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools / Data Management.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 years.
