Qualification:
- Senior Technical Assistant (Chemistry): Should have Master's Degree in Chemistry preferably with specialization in inorganic or Physical Chemistry or Analytical Chemistry. OR Bachelor's Degree in Science with Chemistry as one of the subject with 3 years experience in analysis of ores and minerals.
- Senior Technical Assistant (Survey): 1. Matriculation Examination or its equivalent. 2. Mine surveyors Competency Certificate under the Metalliferous Mines Regulation, 1961. OR Exchange Certificate awarded by the Board of Mining Examination Dhanbad. OR Diploma in Mining and Mines surveying (3 years course after Matriculation) issued by State Board of Technical Education. OR Diploma of Government Industrial Training Institute of 2 years course in Surveying. 3. Three years experience as Mines Surveyos after acquiring Mines Surveyors Certificate of competency. Desirable : (i) Possession of ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate of the National Cadet Corps Training.
- Junior Technical Assistant (Ore Dressing): (i) Master's Degree in Ore- Dressing, mineral processing or Geology or Chemistry or Physics. OR Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or Metallurgy or its equivalent. OR Bachelor's Degree in Ore-Dressing of Geology or Chemistry or Physics with two years experience in Ore-Dressing or Mineralogy.
- Draftsman: i) Should have passed Matriculation Examination or its equivalent. ii) Should have a Diploma or Certificate of not less than two years duration in (Civil/ Mechanical) Draftsmanship from National Council for Training in Vocational Trades (NCTVT). Desirable : Experience in Ferro printing/ Diazo printing.
- Mechanic: Industrial Training Institute certificate as Machineman or Fitter or Mechanic from a recognized Institution. (OR) Should have passed Matriculation Examination and should possess five years experience in maintenance or repairs of ore dressing or similar machines in a scientific laboratory.
